I travelled in North Morocco a few years ago, and it was completely magical. For me, it was the first time going in Africa and it amazed me. As a European, I am used in different architecture, weather, landscapes and way of living. Morocco was to me like I visited a fairytale of my childhood. Palaces, colorful clothes everywhere, so many smells and markets. I visited three cities, while there. The first was Fez, the second Meknes, and last but not least Chefchaouen (a.k.a. The Blue City). I would definitely recommend you to visit Morocco. Have your camera ready and your walking shoes on your feet. Try the local food and drink a lot of tea there. Morocco has a lot hidden treasures and they need to be discovered.
